PaycheckTools is a collection of 10 free calculators built to answer the money questions working people actually have. Things like "what's my real take-home pay?" or "is this raise actually keeping up with inflation?"
Every calculator runs in your browser. No signups, no data collection, no paywalls. Just type in your numbers and get answers.
The blog covers the same territory in plain English: taxes, paychecks, freelancing, salary negotiation, and the stuff nobody teaches you about getting paid.
Meet the Author
Casey Marks · CreatorHi, I'm Casey Marks. I built PaycheckTools because every time I looked up "how much is my paycheck after taxes," I got garbage. Paywalled tools, walls of text written for accountants, or some app that wanted me to create an account just to see a number.
I've been the person staring at a direct deposit wondering why it's so much less than I expected. I've tried to figure out whether a raise actually matters or if taxes just eat it. I've sat with a job offer not knowing if the number was good. These calculators exist because I got tired of not having a straight answer.
Every blog post and tool on this site comes from a question someone actually asked. The kind of thing you'd text a friend who's weirdly good with money. No signups, no tricks. Just the math.
